G & G. A couple whose love blossomed from school in 2009 and has “been around the world and back again. From Afghanistan to Kenya, Otterburn to Gloucester, nothing has phased them”. As Award Winning Videographers we were delighted to be a part of their special day and feel we captured their personalities, love and true devotion to on another.
Georgia and George’s engagement was supposed to be at the Griffith Observatory in LA but on arrival Georgia had said “is this it?, this is rather underwhelming” so George quickly came up with another plan to propose on Mulholland Drive, overlooking the city and under the stars. On this epic trip they travelled across America and went to some incredible places, these places then became their table names for their reception dinner. It is these little personal touches that really make the couples wedding so special and unique, making it easier for us as Award Winning Wedding Videographers to capture the essence and individuality of the couple.
Sunday the 27th of June 2021 would be the day they finally got to seal their love with a diamond ring (or should be say diamonds). After not only a 2nd engagement attempt but also a 2nd wedding day attempt, however it was definitely worth the wait. George and Georgia were blessed with the weather, as the sun came out for all the perfect moments at their wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns. This was truly the most gorgeous venue for these childhood sweethearts to tie the knot, complete with rustic barn ceremony room, an airy, light and spacious reception room, lots of beautiful grounds, alfresco seating and even an outdoor pizza oven. They had seen Bassmead manor barn online and went to an open evening a couple of weeks after they got back from the trip they got engaged on. It was the only venue they went to see, and they fell in love with it. They booked the venue there and then and you can see why in our Wedding video.
Ground Films Wedding Videography were welcomed into Georgia and Georges world, getting to know their family and friends, seeing their endless memories on their picture wall and learning all about each other through the countless stories we (Ground Films) got to hear throughout the day.
Georgia’s looked effortlessly stunning in her classic A-Linestyle, satin dress from Wed2B as she walked down the aisle. As she was greeted by her teary-eyed groom you could tell that at that moment, they only saw each other, and the room was silent. We loved how G & G had arranged cocktails for straight after the ceremony so everyone could enjoy their favourite cocktails with them. As West Sussex Wedding Videographers we always capture the authenticity of the couple alone, at Georgia and Georges wedding we were inundated with gorgeous spots at Bassmead Manor Barns to get stunning shots of them together. From the long, grand, tree lined driveway, fairy lit bridges and endless green fields. As you can see from these stills, the couple and location complimented each other perfectly.
As Award Winning Videographers we captured everything from bridal preparations, card reading, gift giving, dads first look, walking down the aisle, vows, speeches, pizza making, first dances, and everything in-between. Everything was beautifully organised and presented, including the unique acrylic personalised table placings and seating plan.
We were truly honoured to be a part of G & G’s day, and to hear why they picked us to be a part of it was so heart-warming:
“We looked around at a lot of Wedding Videographers, but nobody even came close. Once we found you (Ground Films)the search was over. We didn’t need to look anywhere else. We watched your trailers over and over again! The standard/quality was second to none and we weren’t going to settle for anything less. We were so excited when you (Ground Film Wedding Videographers) were free for our dateand we couldn’t have asked for anyone more perfect to capture our day.”
