Lauren & Ash met at work, whilst at Barclaycard, after both having worked there for over 3 years and never crossing paths. Lauren thought Ash was shy at first but that soon changed and Ash first thought Lauren was confident and pretty which is still apparent today, when he describes his bride as beautiful, affectionate and loyal. “It sounds cheesy but we are not only now husband & wife, but are also the best of friends”
The charismatic pair got engaged on their two year anniversary, when Ash proposed to Lauren in Rome at Janiculum Hill and they soon picked their dream wedding venue in the form of stunning exclusive use wedding venue, The Clock Barn, Tufton Warren, Hampshire. Lauren loved the idea of a barn wedding and Lauren’s mum found Clock Barn on the internet after visiting a couple of venues that weren’t quite the right fit. “We loved the location making the wedding a bit of a long weekend and the barn itself is absolutely stunning”
Lauren wore a fabulous Mori Lee Kaitlyn wedding dress, bought at Confetti & Lace store in Essex whilst filming for an episode of MTV’s Say Yes To The Dress with David Emmanuel. “I had actually come close to buying a completely different dress in another store a month or so before but it was a sample dress and we discovered a hole in it. Fate ran its course though and led me to choose the one I absolutely loved!” As Hampshire videographers the ceremony is even more special when the readings or vows are something personal and endearing and today was NO disappointment when Lauren’s brother read a poem written by Lauren’s dad about their lives together, Witty and romantic it was fantastic to have this featured in our wedding video at The Clock Barn.

Rose or chocolates does Ash send,
No he asks Lauren to be his facebook friend.
The first date at the embankment pub, a pint, a prosecco and a bit of grub.
Burned indelibly into Ash’s mind, that first date outfit that was so hard to find.
A cunning move from ash it would appear,
Save some cash to spend on beer.
Asked Lauren to be his girlfriend on the 20thJuly,
not two weeks after her birthday had gone by.
Second anniversary, now off to rome.
Tried to see the pope at the Vatican but he wasn’t at home.
Night time on a hill top, Rome all lit up they could see.
The perfect time and the place that Ash got down on one knee.
20thJuly, 2018, is a date that we will all hold dear.
Your family and friends are gathered so near.
Today’s a really quiet day, so no need to panic, as Lauren & Ash become Mr & Mrs Lanik.”

Why did you choose us to film your wedding and what did you think of your experience being filmed?
Cinematic style of filming along with there being 2 of you to capture all of the moments throughout the day. Being filmed was a lot easier and natural than we thought it would be.
Any advice for future wedding couples thinking about having their special day filmed?
Do it! We are so looking forward to reliving the day, watching the footage and then having the memories to view again over and over as well as catching any moments we may have missed on the day!
