1.Tell us about where and when you first both first met and What were your first impressions of each other when you first met? We first met on good old MSN messenger (a bit like Whatsapp for todays generation)! First impressions of Marcus: After talking online for a while, we first met in person on 15th February 2006. At first I just kept thinking what a cute shy boy Marcus was. Our first date was at the Cinema. I do still remember now, Marcus giving me his haribo eggs during the film as those were the ones he didn't like. I didn't get much choice of the other sweets though!! Its one of those random memories that will stick with me forever. First impressions of Katie: When I first saw Katie, I thought that she was very cute and approachable with her smile. Luckily Katie was chatty and confident when it came to our first meeting as I was very shy, not having been around girls that often in a social environment. I left that day knowing that I wanted to definitely meet again and my love for her has grown from that day on.

2.Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen? Marcus proposed to me at Durdle Door on May 28th 2017. It wasn't the nicest of days and we were both cold, wet and covered in mud from walking all day with our dog Archie. We got to Durdle Door and Marcus suggested we venture up this path to check out a better view. I knew something was up when we were getting further and further away from everyone else to a really quiet spot on the edge looking over towards Durdle Door. He got down on one knee in the mud and popped the question. Instead of "Yes" I think the first words that popped out of my mouth was "I knew it!". Prior to this he did however take the engagement ring on a little trip all the way to Orlando, Florida. The ring came with us round a few of the Disney parks and then he brought it all the way back again after not finding the "right moment" to then eventually propose a few months later at Durdle Door. 3.Give us three words each to describe each other and what they mean to you? Bride: Thoughtful, demanding and easy going. Katie is the first thing I think about when I wake up, and the last thing I think about at night. She is always on my mind no matter what and I feel that I am a better person for having her in my life.
Groom: Kind, patient and loving. I know its so cliche but Marcus really is my best friend. We have shared 13 amazing years together and been through so much in that time. I can't imagine my life without him and wouldn't have it any other way.

4.How did you find and choose your wedding venue, Tithe Barn Petersfield in Hampshire?
After getting engaged we started looking straight away for a wedding venue in Hampshire. We were quite particular with what we didn't want for a wedding venue i.e. a hotel, marquee etc. We both loved the idea of a barn and after searching online we found Tithe Barn in Dorset. After googling pictures to see other weddings that had taken place at the same barn I came across another Tithe Barn in Petersfield, West Sussex. The following week we travelled up there to see it and fell in love instantly with the venue. Its such an amazing wedding venue and lovely grounds it would be hard not to fall in love with it.
5.Tell us about your wedding dress; the designer, how long it took you to find the one?
As my mum and nan would tell you I dragged them round every bridal shop in Dorset trying on a huge variety of styles. I'm pretty sure I tried on at least 50 wedding dresses before finding the one. I was recommended to try Anna Bridal Couture in Ringwood by a friend. I messaged Anna before visiting the shop to explain exactly what I was looking for and she assured me that there would be something in the shop that would be suitable for me.
After trying on a few dresses I chose a beautiful dress by Justin Alexander. It was a lace fit and flare style with lots of beading and lace appliques. It couldn't have been more perfect and was exactly the dress I had imagined myself wearing on my wedding day.

6.Tell us about what the Groomsmen wore in the Hampshire Wedding Video?
The groom, father of the bride, usher and page boys all wore matching blue suits with coral coloured ties and handkerchiefs from Isobels Bridal and Groom in Poole.
9.Did you have any readings in your Wedding video at Tithe Barn, Petersfield and if so, why did you pick them? We had one reading by our niece Kacey, we chose the following poem as we felt it was well suited to us both. Here's to right now: https://plus.google.com/+Iwantapoem/posts/QgNnb2QXFcx

11.What was your favourite part of your wedding day at Tithe Barn Petersfield, Hampshire?
Having the band Mister Kanish as our evening entertainment. They did a fantiastic job with our first dance and the special requests that we asked for. They kept us up dancing on our feet all evening. 12.Was there any funny moments that you will always remember?
Seeing a few of the guests getting a little too merry in the evening with some questionable dance moves!!

13.Why did you choose us, Hampshire Wedding Videographers to film your wedding and what did you think of your experience being filmed?
We were recommended Ground Films by another Hampshire videographer who was unable to do our date. We couldn't have been happier with James and Ellie and really enjoyed having them as part of our special day. As we are not natural film stars I did find myself looking directly at the camera on numerous occasions. But as the day went on we got more and more comfortable with being filmed and enjoyed the experience. 14. Any advice for future wedding couples thinking about having their special day filmed by us, Hampshire wedding videographers?
Do it, do it, do it!!! Photographs are a lovely keepsake for the day to look back in years to come but having a video of the wedding day just makes it that bit more special.
