Tell us about where and when you first both first met and What were your first impressions of each other when you first met?
We met in Buddha Lounge in Southampton. At the end of the night when the lights came on I (Alisa) walked up to Dan and asked him lots of questions. I had a crush on Dan at school so vaguely knew who he was. Dans first impression of me was very confident.

Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen?
Dan proposed on an aeroplane on the way to Singapore. It was the perfect surprise to start our holiday.

How did you find and choose your wedding venue, Wasing Park, Surrey.
Having photographed at many local venues we decided to choose somewhere that I (Alisa) hadn't been before to keep it special to us. We came across Wasing Park on instagram and loved it right away. It ticked all the boxes.
Tell us about your wedding dress; the designer, how long it took you to find the one featured in your wedding video at Wasing Park, Surrey?
I absolutely loved my wedding dress, it had the most incredible train too. Its a Martin Thornburg dress. Having my Mum and Best friend working in the bridal industry I was in safe hands so was a really amazing experience. I am not a dressy kind of girl so I wanted something elegant with a wow factor.
Tell us about what the Groomsmen wore in your wedding video at Wasing Park, Surrey?
Daniel wore a dinner jacket, he had a velvet butterfly bowtie and his best man wore a wine dinner jacket.

We choreographed (with the help of Alisa's sister) a dance for our first dance which was so much fun.

It’s clear to me now that everything in my life has led me to you - I think back on all my choices and consider even the bad ones blessed, because if I had done even one thing differently, I might never have met you and become your wife.

Did you have any readings and if so, why did you pick them?
Yes we had a reading... these are the hands. It was such a beautiful reading that really spoke to us about the journey you go through when you are married. A very dear friend Anja took the reading and held our hands as she read it, it was just so lovely.

Make-up Artist - Katie Mould, my friend who is an amazing make up artist and also I photographed her wedding so was lovely to have the roles reversed.
Hair Artist - Jenny- Proud of my Locks, my friend and incredible hair stylist.
DJ- Dean Higgins, all round legend and good friend of us both.

Florist-Clair Lythgoe....wow our flowers were absolutely dreamy, better than I could have ever imagined.
Venue Stylist- Linen & Lace..absolutely amazing and really made the venue look so good and complimented the floristry so well.
Transport
Wedding Cake- Lara - Little Mallow, we were her first wedding cake and it was so amazing and delicious, the salted caramel layers was so yummy.
Rings- Burrells in winchester.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day at Wasing Park, Surrey?
Getting married, the ceremony was such a beautiful moment for us both surrounded by everyone we love and saying our own vows to one another.
Was there any funny moments that you will always remember?
I wouldn't say any funny moments but we really had the best night dancing. We mixed a lot of persian music into the playlist as well and everyone joined in so that was amazing for us.
Why did you choose us to film your wedding and what did you think of your experience being filmed by West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films?
Because you guys are the best at what you do and having followed your work and worked with you I knew that you would be our number 1 choice. The whole experience was great, you were so much more than videographers, helping organise and coordinate things in the morning and just chatting and having a laugh it was great
Any advice for future wedding couples thinking about having their special day filmed by West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films?
Don't think about it just do it. It's the most amazing thing having a video memento of your day, it really brings the atmosphere back to life.
