Alice & Jamie's Wedding Film at Primrose Hill Farm

After 5 years of laughs, love and lots of gigs, Alice and Jamie got married on the 21st of August 2021 at the perfect Primrose Hill Farm in the Cotswolds.

The day started differently to most, with Alice and Jamie chilling out, eating breakfast together at the beautiful, spacious, and characterful farmhouse attached to this lovely, restored farm. As we (Ground Films) met Alice and Jamie we were instantly hit by this level of calmness that they both possessed which we feel was created by having each other there by their sides. With Jamie having gone for an epic run with his Best Man in the morning and Alice sharing stories with her bridesmaids that were already mixing the drinks, the morning felt like they were on a lovely country holiday with their best friends.

The couple met in 2016 and from that moment Jamie was instantly in awe of Alice, when she was recording a singing session which Jamie was producing. Both already being huge music lovers, music became the fire to start their relationship and from that moment on they both haven’t stopped loving music or each other! In April 2020 Alice proposed to Jamie on a stunning blue skied day in Richmond Park. Being a project manager, Alice most definitely had been planning her wedding day since that very moment! The wedding was expertly delivered as expected by anyone who knows her.

These hills became the most perfect backdrop for us (Ground Films) to capture this creative couple in. As wedding videographers, we were spoilt for choice when it came to capturing the couple in beautiful locations. Primrose Hill Farm was full of them. As you can see in the wedding film, we explored: the lake, the fields, the long grass meadows as well as an epic green door and a nostalgic courtyard. Alice and Jamie had picked the perfect location for their wedding even if the rain had pushed back some garden games previously in the day.

Humour, childhood stories, gratitude, words of devotion, and a couple of original songs created the perfect recipe for the speeches. Ground Films has included moments from the speeches performed by Alice and Jamie’s family and best friends throughout the cinematic wedding film above so you can experience the variety of emotions all over again. The rain stopped and the sun made the perfect appearance just after dinner meaning the evening was fruitfully enjoyed outside in the warm August air.

The day ended with the late sun dipping below the hills and the epic dance party starting. The bar was set high when Alice and Jamie performed the most beautiful and encapsulating choreographed first dance ever to their nearest and dearest. They barely got a chance to breathe at the end of the song before their friends and family engulfed them and held them hostage on the dance floor for the rest of the night – the only way the wedding of two music lovers could end.
