After meeting 11 years ago and finally getting together 5 years ago, Amelia and Tom tied the knot with their two furry spaniels by their side and surrounded by their friends and family at the stunning Cotswolds situated ‘Stone Barn’. Story-telling wedding videographers, Ground Films were there to capture it all.
Amelia got ready in a quaint cottage just down the road from the picturesque barn. Her hair was spectacularly crafted into a stunning half up half down, with endless curls and waterfall braid the look was embellished with a forest green flower crown. Her hair perfectly complimented her stunning a line wedding dress with dainty leaf lace that weaved its way down the straps and across the bodice. Her whole ensemble paired perfectly with her converse screamed Amelia and completely matched the vibe of the autumnal Stone Barn.
Ground Films captured Amelia getting ready surrounded by her bridesmaids who sat on the bed, recounting stories of their friendship – it was exactly how every wedding morning should start off. Wedding cinematographers captured Amelia open a present she had received from her soon to be husband – a beautiful hand-crafted book which included personal and adoring words of affirmation and of course artwork – it’s safe to say there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Whilst Amelia continued to get ready with her girls, Wedding Videographers, Ground Films met up with Tom and his groomsmen as they got ready down the road. They enjoyed a swift game of pool and a tipple before making their way to Stone Barn to welcome in the guests.
Amelia was making the final adjustments when Ground Films got back to the cottage to film her doing the last couple of bits before heading off to her wedding – eeeekk! Once her mum had got her ready and her earrings and perfume were on, Amelia’s father and brother George were welcomed in for the reveal! Their reactions were priceless, and it was a beautiful moment to capture, followed by Amelia’s bridesmaids who wore smiles of pride and adoration when they saw her. Finally, it was time for Amelia to make her way to Stone Barn with her brother and father to get married! The couple had picked Stone Barn as they adore the Cotswolds, and it was the first place they ever went away to together – so it holds such a special place in their hearts.
The ceremony was incredibly emotional, with the most poignant and beautifully crafted personal vows and treasured readings – all of which you can hear throughout Amelia and Toms wedding video above. Wedding videographers, Ground Films felt such joy in capturing this ceremony as Amelia just kept saying “I can’t believe this is happening” with the biggest smile on her face.
The newlyweds celebrated with their friends and family outside, in the stunning grounds of Stone Barn. Storytellers, Ground Films were able to capture this precious couple within the stunningly vibrant autumnal trees that lined the driveway - all of which you can see throughout their wedding film above.
Finally, it was time for the couple to enjoy their speeches performed by Amelia’s father, Tom and Toms best man, along with some words from Amelia herself. The stories and anecdotes told made it so clear how perfect this pairing is and you can hear these incorporated in Amelia and Toms wedding film above. Food was served in the synonymous Stone Barn way – mammoth portions of wood fired beef served on huge platters and accompanied with seasonal honey roasted veg. It was divine.
The party started with a very special first dance, that got everyone on the dance floor and ensured everyone remained on the dance floor until the evening was over!
It was such a pleasure to have captured Amelia and Toms special day, having captured Amelia’s brothers wedding a couple of years prior we really felt like we knew the family and were treated like guests ourselves. We cannot wait to follow all your future adventures Amelia and Tom.
