“You have been my greatest adventure” – Annie
Annie and Sean met on a ‘digital zebra crossing’ (i.e a dating app) and shared their first date throwing axes after their ‘pre-first date’ pub lunch. They definitely knew how to kick start their relationship with excitement and thrill. The excitement hasn’t stopped since, from beautiful holidays spanning multiple continents to airport security nearly giving away the proposal, Annie and Sean have lived a thousand adventures together already and we know they will continue to live spontaneously throughout their married lives. The saying ‘when you know, you know’ really rings true as after only a year into their relationship Sean proposed to Annie, not before asking her dads blessing via the garage. Watch their wedding film above for all those beautiful details.
Annie and Sean finally got married after rearranging three times on the 26th of March 2022 in the most beautiful Cotswolds venue Cripps Barn.
West Sussex wedding videographers, Ground Films met Sean at his AirBnB with all his groomsmen in the morning of his long-awaited wedding. Sean was calm, collected, excited for the big day ahead that he can been eager to enjoy for 3 years, his tiny and very cuddly dog, Simba, joined at the hip. Sean got ready into his dapper suit, with his signature man bun and the most incredible green Tom Ford suit jacket and suede loafers. At Ground Films we love to capture those unique moments like when gifts are given. Sean presented his groomsmen, comprising of his two brothers, his childhood best friend and his ‘brother from another mother’ a beautiful cigar set for them to enjoy throughout the day.
Annie got ready with her loving family and best friend by her side in the most spacious AirBnB minutes away from the venue. The morning consisted of cuddles from her childhood dog, champagne with her incredibly stylish grandma and dads helping hand with Annie’s insane gift from Sean. Speaking of which… Sean only went and got Annie the gift of a lifetime – the Cartier “Love Bracelet”. Ground Films captured it all, from the makeup chair to the last touches making sure to capture all the laughter and moments in-between.
Annie arrived at Cripps Barn in the most stunning vintage white car with her dad, mum, sister and best friend Jemima by her side. Cripps Barn looked as beautiful as ever, set in the gorgeous Cotswolds countryside emblazoned with the sun from a glorious March heatwave. The barn was decorated beautifully with a candle lit fireplace, chandelier garlands and timeless greenery. Annie walked down the aisle with her very proud father by her side, looking priceless in her stunning off the shoulder mermaid dress, embellished with cascading satin buttons that travelled down her spine and beautifully subtle pearl beads that perfectly finished her hair.
Ground Films captured the couples romantic, intimate, and surreal ceremony that was brimming with contagious smiling friends and family lining the aisles. Jemima and Annie’s sister, Lily performed the most beautiful readings and Annie and Sean promised personal vows to one another.
Soon the celebrations were in full swing with champagne in the sunshine on the glorious decking at Cripps Barn, accompanied by the most insane saxophonist and mouth-watering canapes.
After the most incredible meal cooked by the wonderful chefs at Cripps Barn, the speeches commenced, which as Wedding Videographers we captured in all their glory. Annie's dad, Andy, Sean's Best Man and Sean himself all performed heart-warming, humorous and loving speeches that filled the room with ecstatic emotion – all of which you can hear throughout their wedding film above.
Annie and Sean were blessed with not only the most beautiful sunny day in March but also a stunning sunset. Ground Films couldn’t miss the opportunity to get the newlyweds out for sunset shots – they were incredible, just watch the film for proof. The Cotswolds fields and the woodland trees created the most scenic backdrop for these.
The spectacular day ended with a stunning dress change and a tear jerking first dance. Soon after the belters came on and the dance floor was full of giddy friends and family and some incredible dancing mostly conducted by Sean’s youngest brother – which we made sure to capture.
Us at Ground Films feel so honoured to be a part of such a special and long-awaited day, thank you Annie and Sean for including us in your journey and a massive thank to you all the suppliers involved:
