Tell us about where and when you first both first met?
Dan and I were introduced at a summer party. We ended up sitting next to each other around a bonfire and chatting an laughing. I was sitting with my friends and singing lots of show songs, loudly when I realised the guy next to me was actually listening to some music which I thought was very rude considering there was a big group of people to talk to..... So I told him it was rude. He took his earphones out, put away his music and then we chatted to each other for quite literally the entire night.
Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen?
Dan surprised me by taking me to see one of my favourite singers Andrea Boccelli who was performing at the 02. Before the concert we went for a walk along the Thames and he got down on one knee and proposed to me then. It was a lovely and emotional moment.
How did you find and choose your wedding venues?
We had been together for 8 years at the time of booking and I didn't want to have a long engagement. We looked for local venues and were somewhat dictated by the availability... originally I wanted an autumn wedding but the rugby world cup scuppered that plan! Then we came across Ramster who had amazing availability including one of our favourite dates "1st".... So we thought it had to be!! We loved that the venue is so different to many others and Hannah fell in love with the fairy lights and the courtyard.
