Dean & Jasmine - Clock Barn

Jasmine and Dean got married at the beautiful Clock Barn in Hampshire on the 8th of December 2021 and Ground Films were lucky enough to capture it all.

Jasmine and Dean met at university when they were both in the library and Dean decided his best tactics to get Jasmine’s attention was to throw Maoams at her. Although this may have not worked initially, eventually the couple ended up getting to getting together and moving to multiple counties to support their careers and goals as Jasmine embarked on her second degree to become a vet. Many Christmases, beautiful travel adventures and no more Maoam throwing later, here they were getting married in front of their beloved family and friends.

Jasmine arrived at Clock Barn, set in the stunning countryside of Hampshire in her very traditional and cosy plaid pjs accompanied by all her bridesmaids who also wore a fabulous collection of traditional button-down sets. As Wedding videographers, it was obvious that Jasmine had already created such a warm and cosy environment for the day and because of this it felt incredibly chilled. Ground Films captured Jasmine and her bridesmaids, whom of which were life-long friends she had made during her university courses, getting ready together in the rustic but beautifully designed bridal room. There was champagne, Maltesers and lots of dancing from Jasmines beautiful flower girl, Aurla.

As West Sussex wedding videographers we love to capture the last moments of the bride getting ready, in this case we captured Jasmine’s mum do up her stunning satin buttons that lined the centre of her spine. Jasmine wore her hair in a stunning half up, half down hair style that was laced with stunning deep red florals. She looked effortlessly elegant in her stunning bespoke sheath wedding dress that had beautiful cut out lace details that ran up her arms. Her wedding look was accompanied by her precious and incredible jewellery all of which we captured and can be seen throughout Jasmine and Deans wedding film.

Whilst Jasmine prepared for the day, Dean arrived with his best man in a classic Morgan The car featured heavily throughout the day and bought lots of fun for the couple over the rest of the weekend. Dean got ready in the beautiful house at Clock Barn with his brothers as well as Jasmines brothers – it was really lovely to see that the family already had come together.

Jasmine who had planned the whole wedding in 6 weeks hadn’t missed a thing – the stunning floral arrangements, colour scheme, wedding favours… everything was accounted for. There was an abundance of stunning greenery that lined chandeliers and doorways, and that was broken up with striking burgundy colours that mimicked Jasmine’s bouquet. Being a Christmas wedding Jasmine and Dean had prepared mini-Christmas trees for everyone as wedding favours, so that they could plant them ready for the next Christmas and be reminded of such a special day.

Jasmine was walked down the aisle by her incredibly proud father and was greeted by her soon to be husband beaming. Ground Films thought that Jasmine and Deans wedding ceremony was so beautifully personal and unique being their closest family and friends and including four special readings performed by the grandmothers and mothers of the two families.

The newlyweds were welcomed out of the ceremony as newlyweds by their family who showered them in confetti. The couple then embarked on the group shots and some couple photos before the last of the winter light completely disappeared and we were even graced by a beautiful sunset. In this time, Ground Films, wedding videographers were able to capture the couple on the epic entrance into Clock barn with the endless rolling fields creating an impressive backdrop behind them. The couple then arrived back to the barn to be greeted with some well needed mulled cider to warm themselves up.

As the evening arrived, the speeches started. The couple were incredibly lucky to have beautiful and heart-warming speeches performed by both sets of parents, Deans brothers and Jasmine’s maid of honour as well as performing a speech themselves. It was a true celebration of both of them as individuals and of how they have amplified each other’s life.

After an incredible dinner the party started, but just before the couple participated in a very funny and wholesome game of Mr or Mrs – they definitely passed the test. The night ended with lots of laughs, dancing, and several lifts.

It was a pleasure to capture Jasmine and Deans wedding day and we thank them for letting us be a part of it.
