Ben and Emma, childhood sweethearts got married at the stunning Notley Abbey, in the heart of Buckinghamshire. The pair having been together since year 9 where Ben shared his first ever kiss with Emma (after being advised from his best friend and best man, Callum). Callum’s advice was clearly very good as the couple have been together since, growing up into their adult lives with each other by their sides. Through the years the pair have built a home, got a dog and are now bringing up their beautiful baby, Maisie. After 3 different wedding dates the pair were finally here getting married. 3, after all is Ben's lucky number so it was destined. Ground Films captured the day unfold.
The day was beautiful. When Emma arrived the birds were chirping, the stream was glistening, and the trees were swaying. She made her way up to the impressive bridal suite to get ready for her big day. Emma got ready with her best friends, all dressed in matching soft pink satin pyjamas, drinking some bubbly. Meanwhile Ben finished off the last-minute touches to Notley by expertly making sure everything was in the right place, before getting suited and booted with his best men into a striking tuxedo. Emma’s hair was beautifully crafted into a stunning, timeless, voluminous updo, which complimented her stunning A-line lace dress, which was embellished with beautiful cascading buttons down the back and an epic cathedral length veil.
Emma’s bridesmaids started the procession down the aisle, walking down to the incredible choir who created the most amazing atmosphere throughout the entire ceremony. Emma followed, arm in arm with her dad. Ben shed a tear as his beautiful bride Emma approached him, all of which Ground Films, wedding videographers captured. After tying the knot, the newlyweds made their way outside to be showered in confetti by their beautiful friends and family.
The couple then enjoyed drinks in the sun, catching up with everyone, and enjoying the stunning surroundings at Notley Abbey, before enjoying speeches in the beautifully decorated wedding breakfast reception. Emma had created the most stunning timeless decoration theme, with dusky pink and white flowers, long tapered candles, and glass charging plates. The whole place was lit by candlelight and every guest had a crispy cream doughnut – the perfect after dinner favour. Ben's best men, Ben, and Emma’s dad all performed emotional speeches all of which, award winning videographers Ground Films captured.
Before everyone took to the dance floor, the choir got everyone outside for a boogie in the courtyard. The atmosphere was electric, and Emma and Ben just had the best time – their faces were the picture of true happiness. They finished the evening with a slow dance, joined by their stunning daughter Maisie and a whole night of making more epic memories together as Mr and Mrs.
