Wedding Videographers, Ground Films captured Nick and Emma’s wedding celebrations at the stunning St Margaret’s Church in Westminster London on the 3rd of September followed by a wedding reception at the infamous Claridge’s Hotel.
Emma and Nick have been together for 10 years after fate collided them together at Law School in California. Since then, they have travelled the world, started their careers, moved continents, welcomed their fur babies ‘Charlie and Lucy’ into their family and now they are committing to endless adventures together for the rest of their lives. Award winning wedding videographers Ground Films captured these stories and more throughout the day, featuring them throughout Emma and Nicks wedding video above.
Emma got ready in the most beautiful suite at Claridge’s, London. Throughout the mornings preparations she told us at Ground Films all about how her and Nick had met and the life they had created with their cats here in London. Emma’s hair was sculpted into the most perfectly sophisticated updo, adorned with a stunning hair piece that glistened in the September light throughout the whole day. Emma’s makeup was soft and flawless and her dress breath-taking, with long balloon style sleeves, a structured deep V neckline and a flowing skirt which had a stunning lace overlay. Emma had the most exquisite flowers hand delivered to her by the internationally renowned Richard Eagleton, from McQueen’s Flowers. Richard then proceeded to play the most beautiful grand piano located in Emma’s suite whilst she got ready – creating the most calming atmosphere. Who else can say they had their florist play piano live for them on their wedding day?
St Margaret’s church was Emma’s chapel when studying and therefore meant that she could get married there – and what a beautiful perk to have. The 12th century church is adorned with an abundance of stunning stained-glass windows which created the most wonderful light. McQueen’s floristry had made a breath-taking feature out of the grand archway situated at the entrance of the church. Wedding Videographers, Ground Films captured all these details and more. Emma walked down the aisle arm in arm with her mother and father, who stood so proudly by her side. She was greeted by Nick at the end of the aisle who immediately whispered, “you look so beautiful”. The ceremony continued effortlessly. The choir created such a stunning all-encompassing sound as the pair signed the register and their dear friend performed a reading with such grace and poise – of which you can hear throughout Emma and Nicks wedding film above.
Emma and Nick arranged for their friends and family to go on a bus tour of the sites of London, having had friends and family who had travelled from all over the world they thought this might be a nice opportunity to show them a little glimpse of the life they were living in London. Whilst their guests were enjoying their sight-seeing Emma and Nick enjoyed a moment to themselves as they travelled to Berkeley Square to take some couple shots. They had met at UC Berkeley, so it was only fitting to have some photos here and pay homage to the start of their relationship.
The drinks reception kicked off at the impressive and grand Claridge’s, London. Wedding Videographers, Ground Films captured the stunning floral arrangements that embellished the already impressive architecture. Emma and Nicks family and friends were reconnecting, and friendship groups were joining whilst everyone sipped on cocktails and listened to the most incredible lounge band.
It was then time for the couple to finally sit down and enjoy their sensational wedding breakfast, which was broken up with speeches from Emma’s father, Nick, Emma, and Nicks brother/best man – all of which expressed how Emma and Nick made the perfect team.
After an elegant first dance followed by a father daughter dance the party got started and the dance floor was packed as everyone got to their feet and celebrated the day to the epic band.
