India & Ben - Farbridge

India and Ben got married at the beautiful Farbridge Barn set in the West Sussex countryside on the 11th of December 2021. The skies were clear, the florists were hard at work making the insane floral garlands that suspended in the middle of the barn and the birds were chirping. Ground Films couldn’t wait to capture India and Bens special day at the most stunning countryside venue, surrounded by endless fields and the rolling hills of the south downs.

India and Ben have known each other since nursery and have unknowingly followed each other throughout their education, but it wasn’t until India was forced to move to the same school as her sister that her and Ben got to know each other more. Starting off as friends but with a little help from another Cupid, the pair finally got together. Being massive foodies the couple’s dates would often centre around food and this was a similar story when it came to the proposal… as you will be able to hear about from their wedding film above.

West Sussex wedding videographers captured India and her bridesmaids get ready in the stunning bridal suite at the back of the venue. India who was filled with excitement was her fun-loving self as her family friend put her hair into a stunning voluminous low bun that was beautifully adorned with an incredible hand-crafted hair piece that was designed around the jewellery that India’s mum wore at her wedding with India’s dad. This hairstyle made sure that her stunning off the shoulder dress was given the full attention it deserved. India’s makeup was soft glam and perfectly bought her whole look together. Ground Films captured India’s very glamourous mum (who had bought several incredible dresses for the occasion) help India into the most stunning satin mermaid dress, with a sweetheart neckline and effortless off the shoulder straps.

Ground Films love to capture couples receiving gifts from each other and both India and Ben outdid themselves with the most incredible presents. India got Ben a Rolex watch that he had seen when they had bought their wedding rings – he had even called up after seeing it to purchase it, to be told it had been sold, little did he know that India had already got it for him. When he was presented it by India’s stunning mum on the morning of The Steeles wedding he shed some tears at the thoughtfulness of India’s present. India was also spoilt by Ben with a stunning cartier watch – this couple really know how to treat each other.

India and Bens, good looking, well dressed and suited and booted family, and friends congregated in the ceremony waiting for India to walk down the aisle with her dad arm in arm. The ceremony looked incredible with the most beautiful floral arch framing the top of the aisle that incorporated the stunning maroons, pinks and reds that were found throughout their day. Ground Films captured the moment that India walked down with tears in her eyes and the biggest grin, and the very moment that Ben saw her, and all the emotions came out. The rest of the ceremony continued with the same watery eyes from everyone as the Steeles proceeded to make their incredibly beautiful and personal vows to one another. There were many laughs, smiles and tissues being passed around. Ben and India then walked out as husband and wife in a cloud of the most insane colourful confetti.

The couple then walked outside into the pristine courtyard at Farbridge to be welcomed by alpacas! The couple even had the two alpacas that they had walked previously join them on their special day. At Ground Films we had never seen or captured alpacas at a wedding before, so it was definitely a unique experience to capture some shots of them with the couple. Before the light rain creeped in, we took the couple up the hill to the old working farm out buildings to capture some incredible couple shots. As wedding videographers, we love to capture the uniqueness of each, and every venue and we specifically love the contrast between the very glamourous India and Ben with the industrial green and pink of the corrugated buildings. You can see throughout their wedding film how effortless they are together which makes it very easy as wedding videographers to capture those authentic laughs and moments.

Soon it was time for the speeches, which were held in the stunning barn that was kitted out with an incredibly well stocked gin bar with endless mixers and garnishes, unicorn slippers for those tired feet, endless ivy green candles to match the limitless greenery, a plethora of copper accents, beautiful place name miniature wreaths, and floating tea lights hanging from the suspending garlands! It is very important for us at Ground Films to capture all these stunning and very well planned out details so that we can give the whole aesthetic the praise it deserves.

Ground Films love incorporating the stories that come out throughout the speeches within the wedding film. India and Ben had several speeches including speeches from Ben and India themselves as well as beautiful speeches from India’s father and Bens best man which all resulted in more laughs and happy tears!

India and Ben being massive foodies made sure that their wedding food was impeccable and after being marvellously full the couple took their nearest and dearest outside to enjoy some sparklers in a short break from the rain. As wedding videographers, we love to finish the day on these stunning night shots if we are lucky and these sparklers did not disappoint!

The evening started with India and Bens first dance to ‘Best Part’ by Daniel Caesar, which their guests sang along to creating the most magical atmosphere. They then continued to party the night away, interspersed with photos at the photobooth and the occasional donut.

Ground Films loved being a part of India and Bens wedding day and we hope they love their wedding film as much as we do. Thank you to all the suppliers that made their day so incredibly special:
