Izzy and Nakul had two beautiful wedding ceremonies at Northbrook Park on the 17th of April 2022. The couple met at Exeter university where they caught eyes over the dance floor. From that moment on the couple have experienced many adventures together over the last 8 years from exploring an abundance of countries to getting their gorgeous black Labrador Ted. It was destined to be true love when on the second date Nakul made Izzy drive him back home on a 4-hour long trip.
Izzy who isn’t hugely traditional decided that she wanted to propose to Nakul, so she woke up early and wanted to surprise Nakul by cooking a traditional Indian breakfast. It was typical that on this day Nakul decided to have a lie in, so Izzy was left waiting for him to wake up, eventually after some coaxing Nakul came downstairs to the surprise and obviously said yes.
It was a glorious sunny day as Izzy got ready with her sister, niece, best friends, and family at a hotel nearby. West Sussex wedding videographers captured the very calm Izzy as she got ready for her first look of the day. Her civil ceremony dress had a beautiful sweetheart neckline and the a-line shape beautifully cascaded down the wide aisle in the light and airy ceremony room at Northbrook Park.
As Ground Films got to the stunning Northbrook Park surrounded by wildlife and encompassed by greenery, we captured Nakul getting ready with his groomsmen, he was equally as calm. Soon the ceremony began, and Nakul shed tears as his stunning bride walked down the aisle towards him. The ceremony continued in the same emotional vein as Izzy’s niece, Esmee, presented a stunning reading with an abundance of energy and pizazz leaving everyone in tears. Izzy and Nakul held onto each other throughout the ceremony showing how supported they feel by each other. Once the vows had been exchanged and more tears from their parents had been shed the couple exited the ceremony as husband and wife and were showered in confetti by their friends and family, all of which was captured by Ground Films.
The wedding party then shared an incredible traditional Indian lunch with each other in the beautiful grounds of Northbrook Park, playlisted by the sound of peacocks every so often. It was then time for everyone to have a little rest and regroup for the Hindu ceremony. In this time, award winning wedding videographers Ground Films captured Nakul’s mum and aunties help Izzy get into her stunning pink and green Hindu wedding outfit accompanied by all her wedding jewellery.
Ground Films then captured Izzy and Nakul’s Hindu ceremony, including all of the incredible traditions of which you can see throughout their wedding film. They were incredibly lucky with beautiful clear sky and warm weather as they celebrated with some drinks with their friends and family before getting changed into their last outfit of the day as their evening guests arrived.
Soon it was time to hear the speeches. As wedding videographers, we love to capture and hear the stories of the couple’s relationship. Nakul, Nakul’s father, Nakul’s best man and Izzy’s sister, Nicolette all performed incredible speeches, pretty much all of them mentioning Izzy’s acceptance of Nakul’s obsession with cricket and how both of them have so naturally fallen into each other’s families becoming a part of them in every way. The speeches included laughter, tears and singing – all of which you can hear throughout their wedding film above.
Ground Films then captured the pair in their incredible outfits at sunset. The low light beautifully picked up the stunning details of Izzy’s outfit, sparkling as she walked. We captured some incredible shots in this time of which you can see throughout their wedding film. Izzy and Nakul’s love is so beautifully authentic, and you can instantly see how they both relax when they are around each other. The night then ended with their beautifully intimate first dance and a full dance floor!
Thank you, Izzy and Nakul, for having us be a part of your day, it was truly special, and we are so excited to see you thrive in your next chapter together. We would love to extend a massive thank you to all the suppliers involved:
