“Without my wife’s bravery, determination and sacrifice we certainly would not be standing here today” – Laurence Bahrami
Kesha and Laurence met each other in the gym swimming pool, you could say it didn’t go as swimmingly as one would have hoped when Laurence asked Kesha’s friend if Kesha needed help. Kesha’s sisters and friends stated that from that point on Kesha bought new gym clothes and would attend more frequently in the hope to see Laurence again. From gym dates to buying a house together Kesha and Laurence have shared many memories, including travelling, creating many experimental and tasty vegan meals, and achieving career goals. After being together for 9 years and facing the challenges of cultural differences the couple tied the knot in their own way – celebrating three cultures with a civil ceremony and a traditional Indian ceremony. It was clear to us as wedding videographers that this couple have overcome a lot to unite as Man and Wife and we couldn’t be happier for them to be able to achieve this and challenge social norms. “I hope that together we have set a new boundary that will help to normalise interracial marriages for our current and future generations, enabling them to not undergo the same pressures and ordeals that we have.” – Laurence Bahrami. You can hear this couple’s power, strength and determination from their epic speeches which created this unstoppable atmosphere throughout their beautifully decorated reception room.
Kesha and Laurence got married at the picturesque Northbrook Park in Hampshire/Surrey, UK. The venue surrounded by countryside, with a lake, fields and an abundance of wildlife including peacocks made the venue feel so luxurious. As Award Winning Wedding Videographers, we feel the surroundings of a wedding venue truly make the wedding super special and exclusive and give ample opportunities for photos and videos.
Kesha looked stunning in her not one, not two, but three wedding outfits; including a stunning white statin form fitting strapless dress for her Civil Ceremony, a traditional deep red Lehenga, which was beautifully hand embellished with beading, sequins and accompanied with the most gorgeous intricate jewellery for her Indian Ceremony and a jaw dropping full length turquoise dress, covered head to toe in sequins for the reception. Kesha’s outfits complimented the day perfectly and made the day go on this beautiful journey in which we as Award Winning Wedding Videographers were able to capture in its entirety.
Laurence’s smile throughout the day continued to grow and this was truly heart-warming for us to capture. You can really see this couples undeniable love for each other in their Wedding Film created by us (Ground Films) which is just full of authentic laughs, smiles, tears, and everything in between.
Kesha and Laurence had a full day of events for their friends and family to enjoy, including a Civil ceremony, a beautiful abundant brunch, a traditional Indian ceremony, cocktails, Dancing, Pimm’s, more Dancing, Speeches and Dinner – all accompanied by the incredible String Quartet. The day finished with the most epic First Dance and Party with lots of singing and energetic dancing which as Award Winning Wedding Videographers we just can’t get enough of.
