Laura and Andy, a camping loving pair who got married on the sunny coast of Porslade on the 20th of May 2022 in Laura’s childhood church by her lifelong family friend. The couple then continued the celebrations at the stunning Pelham House in the historical town of Lewes.
Andy proposed to Laura during a walk on New Year’s Eve, around their home in Horsham. It was one of their favourite walks and it was all crisp and Christmassy and Laura didn’t hesitate to say yes leading to this very day where they commit to each other forever, captured by West Sussex Wedding Videographers, Ground Films.
Laura spent the morning with her bridesmaids and mum in the beautiful bridal suite at Pelham House, she was very calm as she enjoyed the pampering of her hair and makeup being done. Her hair was crafted into a stunning updo, with her soft fringe framing her face, embellished by an incredible weaving hair piece. Her makeup was soft but glamorous and perfectly complimented her dress… an A-line design which was breath-taking with stunning lace cap sleeves, an elegant V-shaped necklace, and an incredible full blush skirt embellished with stunning lace appliques throughout matching the bodice.
Andy got ready with his best men at the other end of the stunning Pelham house. Ground Films was there to capture the boy’s laughter as they got ready into their speckled tweed blue suits with grey detailing which perfectly brought out Andy’s immaculate beard which stole the show.
Wedding Videographers, Ground Films captured Laura arriving at the church in a stunning vintage white Beauford which went perfectly with her dress and the whole wedding theme. The ceremony started with two pretty flower girls who gracefully walked down the aisle followed by Laura’s best friends and bridesmaids who looked beautiful in their dusky pink dresses. Laura herself then proceeded to make an incredible entrance at the church being proudly walked in arm in arm by her dad. The service, that their family friend conducted was so personal with stories of Laura’s childhood throughout, all of which you can hear throughout their wedding film. The couple also asked two of their close friends to perform readings/prayers, involving all their loved ones into their very special day.
After tying the knot and making their vows the couple made their way back to Pelham House, which looked dazzling as the rain had now stopped and the sun was firmly planted for the rest of the day. The couple enjoyed celebratory drinks with their friends and family, discussing how beautiful Laura looked and how precious the ceremony was.
As their guests were called in for dinner Ground Films captured this perfect couple in the beautiful gardens at Pelham House, giving them a moment of breathing space before they sat down for their wedding breakfast and speeches. Laura’s dad did a fantastic job during his speech taking everyone on a journey through Laura’s life up until this moment and wishing the pair lots of happiness for the future. Which was followed by Andy’s speech which he devoted to his now wife and spoke about their adventures thus far and the future adventures they hope to go on together.
Laura’s sister and Andy’s brother both performed amazing speeches, telling the various tales of the pair’s childhoods and their subsequent adult adventures showing how fun loving and outgoing this couple are as individuals and therefore showing how well they marry together! Laura’s sister also gave Andy some pointers of how to live with her sister all of which perfectly encapsulated Laura and provided both a lot of laughter and some heart-warming tears. All the fabulous and eloquently performed speeches can be heard throughout their wedding film above.
As the evening continued, we snuck the pair away for some stunning couple shots outside the Lewes Castle, with his grand archway and stunning brickwork, this created a perfect moment for the couple to get some air before partying the night away to the most epic tunes. The dance floor never emptied, and the pair just continued the most fabulous celebrations with their friends and family before heading on their honeymoon road trip the following day.
