Take a moment to watch the beautiful couple Mr & Mrs Whitehouse, tie the knot in their fantastic wedding video by award winning West Sussex videographers, Ground Films, Filmed at Ingestre Hall.
Tell us about where and when you first both first met and What were your first impressions of each other when you first met?
We both met at Reading Festival in 2014! I was 25 and Tosh was 21 and after getting over the first initial thoughts of "She's very serious!" and "Oh no, he's too young!" we both actually secretly fell in love there and then that weekend.

Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen?
Tosh proposed in February 2016 during a trip to Queenstown, New Zealand, to see my best friend Kay who lives out there.
I had stayed with her for two months, five years before this, and used to sit and chill out at this little spot right next to a Lake nearby to where she lived. I told Tosh about this during a walk into the town one of the days we were there (Pancake day actually!) and on our way back he asked if we could stop there. So we did. And that's where he asked me!

Give us three words each to describe each other and what they mean to you?
Bride: Beautiful - Just look at her! Caring - Has been there for me through the hardest times. Supportive - Always has my back, no matter what.
Groom: Loving - Makes me feel more loved than I've ever felt. Champion - He is my number one fan! Silly - He's basically just a big man child who is constantly silly and it brings the silliness out in me, which I love!
How did you find and choose your wedding venues?
We wanted something semi central and not too far for people to travel to and also somewhere that wouldn't require any travelling in between the ceremony and the reception and St Mary's Church and Ingestre Hall ticked all of these boxes. As well as both of these buildings being incredibly beautiful and full of character! Our church is the most beautiful church we have ever been in and having a church ceremony was important to Laura as her great grandmother was a religious lady and Laura attended Sunday School with her as a child.
The bridal party and groomsmen and parents and grandparents all also stayed at Ingestre lodges the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding meaning we had a whole weekend to celebrate rather than just one day.

Tell us about your wedding dress; the designer, how long it took you to find the one featured in your Wedding video by West Sussex Videographers Ground Films?
My dress was an Essence of Australia design that I found on my first and only day of dressing shopping at Wedding Belles of Four Oaks. The ladies here did an amazing job of keeping me calm and helping me find my dress. And then again throughout all of the of my fittings! I felt like an actual Princess in my dress, which is actually the total opposite of what I wanted initially! But like they say - you only do it once don't you!
Tell us about what the Groomsmen wore in your Wedding video by West Sussex Videographers Ground Films ?
All the suits for the two best men and the groom were purchased at Slaters, in Birmingham. Tosh wore a dark blue navy tux to slightly stand out from his two best men who were in black tux's. All of them had silver cufflinks from John Lewis and wore buttonholes made of winter greenery.

Was there any surprises in your Wedding video by West Sussex Videographers Ground Films? Tell us more..
We didn't arrange for any surprises for each other for the day, but we did arrange for a surprise for our guests! We had a band called the Brass Junkies, a 6 piece New Orleans styled brass band, meet us and our guests outside the church and march us round to our venue to "Get Lucky" by Pharrell Williams and "Faith" by George Michael and then play throughout our drinks reception and they were just amazing!! Everyone said how much they loved the band and that the walk to the venue was one of their favourite parts of the day!
Did you have any readings and if so, why did you pick them?
We asked our vicar to read a bible reading called "Love is Kind" which we both think is a beautiful piece and really good advice to live by! We also had Tosh's sister Lauren to read " I will Be Here" by Stephen Curtis Chapman as we both feel it really speaks of how we feel for each other. It's a bit of a tear jerker!

Tell us about the finishing touches like favours, sweet carts etc & name any suppliers & companies that helped make your perfect wedding day come true and featured in your Wedding video by West Sussex Videographers Ground Films:
Photographer - Rob McGuniess. Professional Landscape photographer, first time wedding photographer, who totally smashed it! Rob photographed our day for us as a favour and we are in love with the images he has captured. We are very lucky to have had him with us for the day!
Make-up Artist - Bridesmaids had Holly Baker from Stafford, who did a wonderful job! But I did my own makeup, as I'm a trained make up artist myself! I loved taking the time out to be by myself for half an hour during the chaos to just pamper myself and do my make up.
Hair Artist - Lottie Goffe. My beautiful friend and Dad's partner! She did an incredible job and made everyone feel so beautiful on the day!
DJ - DJ Karlton. Had EVERYONE on the dance floor all night!
Band - Brass Junkies
Toastmaster - Sunny Sagoo. A long time family friend, who was also our incredible caterer. Sunny worked with us for well over a year to perfect our beautiful wedding breakfast menu and made sure everything was stress free for us. He also played the role of wedding planner and help set up our venue with us the day before the wedding. He was an absolute diamond throughout the whole of the planning stages and on the day! We love you Sunny!
Flourist/Cake - Our beautiful flowers and cake were created by sister duo Jenny and Faye Paddock. Both of them do this on the side of their full time jobs for friends and family. We were incredibly lucky to have them both help us out for our big day and we LOVED what they did for us! They totally got our vision for the day and really helped pull off the over all look and feel for the day.
Rings - Our rings were from Neweys in the Jewellry Quarter in Birmingham.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day featured in your Wedding video by West Sussex Videographers Ground Films
The ceremony was our favourite part. It such a special moment.
Was there any funny moments that you will always remember?
Walking around the corner into the back garden and seeing our friends dancing to the band in the freezing cold! It was so cold outside but people couldn't stay indoors while the band were playing!
Why did you choose us, Ground Films to film your wedding and what did you think of your experience being filmed by West Sussex Videographers?
We fell in love with your style of shooting and how cinematic it all was. Each video we viewed was really powerful and moving and that's exactly what we wanted to look back on our day as.

Any advice for future wedding couples thinking about having their special day filmed by West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films?
Just enjoy every moment! Of the day itself and also the planning stages. Don't sweat the small stuff and always stick by each other if one of you feels strongly about one part of the day that the other one may not feel so strongly about. Be understanding and willing to compromise :)
