Lindsey & George's Wedding Film at West Dean Gardens

Lindsey and George met at university on a cold December night in 2014 at a club called Oceania and here they are 8 years on, on their breath-taking wedding day. Lindsey and George got married at the stunning Boxgrove Priory in a quaint West Sussex Village surrounded by the countryside, the old ruin, and a peaceful vineyard. They continued the celebrations at the pristine West Dean Gardens where the pair had planned the most wonderful reception. West Sussex Wedding Videographers were there to capture it all.

Lindsey got ready in the most beautiful air b and b just down the road in Boxgrove village. The house had an electric feeling with family and friends all busying themselves getting ready and Lindsey’s mum preparing a full English for everyone. Lindsey was calm, recounting the stories of her and George and their third wheel/best friend who had spent many drunken nights together eating their pre-planned chicken nuggets together after nights out. As wedding videographers, we adore hearing these stories of the couple, and it was so lovely to see Lindsey really soaking up all the atmosphere and enjoying it, not forgetting a short moment of panic when a massive spider made an appearance in her bedroom and then shortly disappeared so no one could find it. Lindsey had hand decorated individual prosecco glasses for all her bridesmaids and family members creating a beautiful personal gift for them all – her crafting didn’t stop there as you will see throughout the rest of their wedding film. Lindsey continued to get ready, chatting away to us and her amazing MUA and Hair team and only stopped to consume one of the most amazing brownies that her maid of honour had brought all the way to the UK for Lindsey’s big day.

West Sussex wedding videographers captured the beautiful Lindsey walk arm in arm with her father through the spectacular Boxgrove Priory towards her soon to be husband (who had shed some tears walking in earlier that day) with her radiant smile. The ceremony was captivating and touching - everyone had goosebumps from the harmonious choir that performed throughout the service. Lindsey and George also had family and friends who proudly performed readings to the pair as they committed their lives to one another.

The couple then were driven by a dear friend of theirs in a beautiful vintage Goodwood car to the most wonderful reception at West Dean Gardens, which the couple had planned meticulously. They had been supported by friends and family in setting up the most incredible tepee wedding, complete with trees from Georges old workplace at Goodwood, hay bells, beautiful florals, home crafted signs, fairy lights, a firepit, a separate sweet and photobooth tepee, personalised cushions, you name it the couple had thought of it.

Wedding videographers, Ground Films captured the wonderful speeches performed by Lindsey’s father, Georges best man and brother and George himself before the couple went on to enjoy a game of tug and war, (which created so much laughter), games of cards sat around the hail bails and first dances at sunset in front of the spectacular view of rolling countryside and sheep.

The night ended with endless dancing and hot pizza around the fire – the perfect ending to the most magical day! We cannot thank Lindsey and George enough for having us be a part of and capture their magical day.
