Tell us about where and when you first both first met and What were your first impressions of each other when you first met?
We met on Tinder! Dan’s first impression was that Maria was a fake account.
Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen?
Dan proposed to Maria at the Shard in London following a day at the Natural History Museum.
Give us three words each to describe each other and what they mean to you?
Bride: Dan is kind, charming and patient; all traits I’ve never had in past relationships so he is very special to me.
Groom: Beautiful, intelligent and witty.
How did you find and choose your wedding venues?
We wanted to pick somewhere near Dan’s hometown to enable his elderly family to attend the wedding. We wanted a grand place to match the military theme.
Tell us about your wedding dress; the designer, how long it took you to find the one?
I picked a dress a year before the wedding but fell out of love with it 6 weeks before the big day, so bought another one! The second (the one I wore) was everything I’d imagined as a little girl - all lace with a bohemian feel.
Tell us about what the Groomsmen wore?
Our best man wore a suit matching with Dads, and the groomsmen wore their military uniform.

Was there any funny moments that you will always remember in your wedding video by West Sussex videographers?
In hindsight, it’s funny to look back at how poorly Maria was on the day!
Why did you choose us to film your wedding and what did you think of your experience being filmed by West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films?
We carefully researched as videography was very important to us. Maria watched videos of strangers’ weddings and realised she wanted you to film our when she found herself crying at random trailers on her Instagram timeline. We felt more comfortable being filmed than we thought we would. You guys blend in so well and the experience was a pleasant one.
Any advice for future wedding couples thinking about having their special day filmed by West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films?
Absolutely go for it. It’s worth every penny and we have had endless compliments about how amazing our trailer is.
