“They say with every cloud there is a silver lining, George you are my silver lining”
George and Nicol had a beautiful wedding celebration at the stunning Farbridge in West Sussex on the 25th of September 2022. After meeting 12 years ago, and their paths momentarily branching apart from each other after university, fate did its job and bought this pair back together. Many adventures on and this couple are now embarking on their next chapter and, West Sussex wedding videographers Ground Films were lucky enough to capture the first day of the rest of their lives.
Nicol started the morning surrounded by her immediate family in a sweet air b and b in the Sussex countryside, before heading to Farbridge to get ready. Nicol was relaxed whilst she listened to some throwback songs with her bridesmaids. Ground Films captured Nicols hair being beautifully crafted into a soft updo, which perfectly complimented her dress, making sure you could see all the stunning lace detail.
Nicol and George got married in a quaint church just down the road, it was intimate and sweet and George could not help but just continually smile at his bride with his infectious grin. Wedding Videographers Ground Films captured the soft florals dotted down the aisle, the beautiful readings and all the moments in-between before Nicol and George walked out into a tunnel of confetti as Mr and Mrs.
West Sussex wedding videographers, Ground Films then made their way back to Farbridge to capture all of the beautiful decorations that Nicol and George had so lovingly thought about, whilst their guests made their way to the beautiful barns nestled in the heart of the Southdown’s countryside for the drink’s reception and days celebrations. The table numbers had pictures of both George and Nicol at that age on them, there were tall candelabrums decorated with green foliage, soft pink florals and long tapered candles, and epic hanging garlands cascading along the barn ceiling – it looked stunning.
Nicol, George and their wedding guests all sat down for the most epic speeches of which included amusing and heart-warming anecdotes from Nicol’s father, hilarious schoolboy stories from Georges best man and words of pure adoration from George before being served an incredible Sri Lankan inspired dinner – all of which you can hear throughout their wedding film above.
The evening ended with a very full dance floor with Nicol and Georges family letting loose and enjoying one another’s company – it was a truly joyous atmosphere of which we at Ground Films are so pleased to have been a part of.
