Nicole & Sam' Wedding Film at South Lodge|West Sussex

Sam & Nicole married on the 16 July 2022 after 9 years together at the beautiful South Lodge Hotel, West Sussex Wedding Venue.

''We had to travel 10,000 miles to find each other''

After meeting in Melbourne Australia and travelling the world together, Sam proposed to Nicole when their first child was just a week old. He put their newborn son, Teddy, in a baby grow which read 'mummy will you marry daddy?'

A sunny summers day in the rolling hills of the South downs, West Sussex was the perfect setting for their wonderful wedding at Exclusive Weddings South Lodge Hotel. The white aisle was set, the white roses gleaming in the sunlight and the chairs laid out on the lawn awaiting the anticipated arrival of the stunning Bride Nicole.

''Today another chapter in our journey begins, as the start of our married life together''

''Today I give you my last name. Today I will marry my best friend. Today will be without a doubt the best day of my life''

The loved up newly weds-to-be married outside under the vintage pergola in the grounds of South Lodge Hotel, amongst their wonderful array of guests who had come from all over England and from Nicole's hometown in Belfast, Ireland. Nicole's bridemaids wore satin pink off the shoulder dresses and had white rose bouquets which matched the Bride's stunning Rose and baby breath hand tied bouquet.

After the emotional and romantic ceremony, the new Mr & Mrs Corkill had a lavish display of canapes and cocktails on the terrace with a live saxophonist, the most summery, feel good music for such an elegant backdrop to an exclusive wedding venue.

Later in the evening, the amazing dining hall at South Lodge Wedding Venue, was adorned with the perfect displays of tall crystal glass candle holders with white twinkling candles and a little splash of gold from the table numbers and unique lazer-cut gold name place settings for each of their guests. The centre piece being the impressive three-tiered marble cake garnished with flowing white roses cascading down the side.

''We came across Ground Films on Instagram and instantly fell in love with their style of filming which seemed so romantic and movie like which is what we love''

Before the party started and the drinks started to flow in full swing, the happily married couple took a romantic sunset stroll through the Instagramable fields of tall grasses and heathers overlooking the stately West Sussex wedding venue and it truly made for the insanely perfect location for their dream photos and video. Love was definitely in the air!
