Rosie & Matt - Wadhurst Castle

Rosie and Matt got married at the beautiful Wadhurst Castle in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK. A couple who met through work in London in 2017 and celebrated their marriage in Rosie’s family’s hometown of Tunbridge Wells. Family connections continued as Rosie and Matt got married in the same church that Rosie’s parents got married in all those years prior, even Rosie’s uncle led the beautiful ceremony. We (Ground Films) really witnessed the relationship this couple had to this location, being in the intimate and ornate church, it felt like we were guests to a special and private ceremony where everyone felt truly blessed to be a part of it.

After being together for two years Matt proposed to Rosie in East Sussex, when they were on a long walk – something that the couple love doing, they even spent a lot of their honeymoon hiking in Scotland. After a year and a half of planning they finally got married on the 7th of August 2021.

Rosie and Matt both wrote cards for each other, and we were able to capture them reading them during the morning of their wedding. These stunning words can be heard in Rosie and Matts cinematic wedding film. Hearing these heartfelt words and seeing the couples’ reactions to their fiancés words hours before their ceremony, we cannot help but feel excited and filled with love for the couple. As West Sussex wedding videographers we love to use this audio and footage in our wedding films as nothing is more personal than Rosie and Matts own words to each other. It makes for the most beautiful sentiment they can keep and watch repeatedly throughout their married lives together.

Rosie’s sister and best friends led the procession down the aisle in their stunning sage green dresses, they were closely followed by Rosie who was wearing the most beautiful A Line dress, embellished with lace detailing on the skirt. She greeted her soon to be husband Matt with the proudest and most excited smile that highlighted this couples true authentic love for each other. The ceremony was full of perfect, special, and personalised blessings and readings for the couple from family and friends.

As award winning wedding videographers, we were absolutely blown away at the view of rolling fields and a gorgeous lake that filled the entirety of the landscape at Wadhurst Castle. A view like that makes for insane shots, which you can see an abundance of throughout Rosie and Matts film. Wadhurst Castle didn’t just have the most amazing views but also the most well-kept, pristine, luscious gardens that even the brisk moments of rain couldn’t dampen.

The surroundings, the company and Rosie and Matts undeniable love made the day feel effortless and made our job as West Sussex wedding videographers’ life easy as there were beautiful memories being made everywhere we looked to capture. We absolutely loved being a part of Rosie and Matts Day and we hope you can see the pure happiness that everyone shared throughout the day in their wedding film.
