Sam & Ambers Wedding Film at Millbridge Court

“People have told me I’ve been lucky my whole life. However, I never really believed it until Amber first agreed to go on a date with me” - Sam Uwins (Groom)

Amber and Sam had the most incredible wedding blessing on the 27th of March 2022 at Millbridge Court. The couples journey started when they met at Tesco where they both worked as fresh-faced teenagers, Amber although was already check-out trained said she wasn’t in a plea to get to spend more time with Sam, she then admits to asking her mum who also worked for the company to find out his name. From that moment on Amber and Sam have laughed uncontrollably, supported each other with creating successful business ventures, have been on many incredible holidays and have created 13 years of the most insane memories together, including bringing their gorgeous daughter Millie into the world on the 14th of August 2021.

Wedding Videographers, Ground Films started the day at the beautiful Millbridge Court. The sky was overcast but the birds where chirping as Amber got ready in the incredibly spacious bridal suite with her immediate family by her side. Millie, Amber and Sam’s daughter was capturing the hearts of everyone in the room as she was cradled by cousins and grandparents, playing with books or blissfully sleeping as mummy prepared to walk down the aisle. Being Ambers first Mother’s Day the day had extra added special meaning. Amber had her hair in a stunning half up, half down hairstyle that beautifully fell round her face, it was subtly curled and was embellished with a trio of stunning flowers. She wore a soft glam makeup which perfectly echoed her breath-taking timeless dress. Ground Films, as wedding videographers made sure to capture it all.

Sam got ready with his best men in the effortlessly decked out man-cave lodge attached to Millbridge Court. West Sussex wedding videographers captured Sam, Dave and Nader trying to put on bow ties and enjoying a tipple before the encroaching celebrations. Sam wore his precious cufflinks that Amber had got him for the day – the priceless cufflinks had a stamp of Ambers fingerprint on one cufflink and a stamp of Millie’s fingerprint on the other, which you can see in their wedding film above.

The sun had now made its appearance and was beaming in through the floor to ceiling windows at the top of the aisle as the best men did an excellent job of getting Amber and Sam’s friends and family sat down ready for the blessing.

As West Sussex wedding videographers we love to capture the groom’s reaction when the bride walks down the aisle, and Sam’s reaction to Amber did not disappoint. As you can see from their wedding film above Sam shed some tears as he saw his beautiful bride Amber walk down the aisle with her father and daughter in tow. The blessing continued in the same beautiful emotive vain as the couple lit a candle for Amber’s nan who sadly passed away recently. Throughout the ceremony Sam’s brother and one of the couples’ close friends performed a reading to the couple as a blessing to them as they entered married life. Throughout the ceremony Millie made soft squeals of happiness as she saw everyone she loved in the same room – her granddad did an excellent job of keeping her entertained.

After tears, laughter, some beautiful personal vows which you can hear throughout Amber and Sam’s wedding video, the couple embarked on a walk through an archway of their guests showering them in confetti. The sun was shining, and the celebratory drinks were circulating. Amber and Sam’s friends were all enjoying the long-awaited day, catching up with each other and basking in the beautiful surroundings.

Just before dinner, we at Ground Films were able to capture some effortless couple shots with Amber and Sam. Their love for each other is undeniable as you watch them share such precious moments together throughout their wedding film.

After the most incredible dinner the couple listened to some excellent speeches performed by Amber’s dad, Sam himself and Sam’s best men (Dave and Nader), where 20 years of memories were reminisced. The excellent speeches ended, and the espresso martinis came out – it was time to party.

Amber and Sam shared an intimate first dance with each other on the dance floor and soon the partying commenced. It was time for us to leave the Uwins to continue their night taking photos in the photobooth and making their moves on the dance floor as they partied the night away as Mr and Mrs.

Thank you, Sam and Amber, for having us along for a beautiful day. We would like to extend out a massive thank you to all the amazing suppliers we got to work with on the day as well:
