Rory’s first impression was that Sam was fit! Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen? Rory proposed on the bank of Caragh Lake in Ireland when we were away with his family for a weekend celebrating his mums 60th birthday.

Give us three words each to describe each other and what they mean to you? Bride: Rory is confident, fearless, energetic  Groom: Sam is caring, smart, sensible  How did you find and choose your wedding venue, Long Furlong Barns West Sussex?  We found the venue in a Sussex venues magazine we got at a wedding fair in Crawley. Sam walked into the barn and when Vicki showed us the main room with all the fairy lights and greenery that Amanda had done she started crying so that was that!

Tell us about your wedding dress featured in your West Sussex wedding video; the designer, how long it took you to find the one? My dress was by Stella York, an Australian designer. The shop is called Fross Wedding Collections In Uckfield. Fross was amazing at helping me spend time discussing styles I liked but the dress I picked was actually the only dress I found online which was the reason I booked to visit that store. So after many many dresses, I chose the one I first liked online.

Tell us about what the Groomsmen wore featured in your West Sussex wedding video? Navy 3 piece suits. Each groomsmen had a different pair of jazzy happy socks and reef knot ties  Was there any surprises?  Rory gave me a bracelet engraved with the first line of our first dance song.

Did you have any readings and if so, why did you pick them? Yes, they were from a group suggested by our priest but we chose the ones most about love.

Tell us about the finishing touches like favours, sweet carts etc & name any suppliers & companies that helped make your perfect West Sussex wedding video come true: Our favours were pink gin in little glass bottles. We had a sweet cart. We had 'Court Garden' at the drinks reception which is English sparking wine from a vineyard very close to where I grew up in Ditchling. We had flip flops for all the girls later to be dancing in. Photographer - Love Heart photography  Make-up and Hair Artist - Grace Benson Make-Up Band - A - list  Toastmaster - Dean Fullam (friend) Florist - Porto flowers in Worthing  Transport - RHD Coaches for all the guests  Wedding Cake - M and S  Rings - Sam's Nanny's wedding ring and Rory’s was an independent jewellers in Barnes. What was your favourite part of your wedding day at Long Furlong Barns, West Sussex?

The wedding ceremony was lovely. All the guests got really lively when everyone had to sing The hymn Lord of the Dance which was really memorable! Also when Ronan Keating came on in the evening and everyone put us on their shoulders whilst we were dancing

Was there any funny moments that you will always remember in your wedding video at Long Furlong Barns, West Sussex?

We didn’t know until the next day that the coaches we arranged for the guests really got lively at the end of the night with everyone signing the hymn 'lord of the dance' very drunk! We got sent lots of videos from the guests and it looked hilarious and great fun!

Why did you choose us, West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films to film your wedding and what did you think of your experience being filmed? -

a recommendation from will our photographer, it was brilliant, James was excellent and very friendly and were grateful to have him part of our day!  Any advice for future wedding couples thinking about having their special day filmed by West Sussex Videographers, Ground Films?

Definitely do it!!! It’s amazing how much goes on during your wedding day that you won’t see as there’s so much going on and you can’t be everywhere so it’s great to think it will be captured on video for you to see after the day. We are so excited to see ours!!! Make sure some of your main guests (bridal party, close family) know your plan for the main photos/videoing at the venue so you don’t have to go on a man hunt rounding everyone up!
