Sarah & Tom's Wedding Video - Latimer Estate

It all started with a marketing job… which led to a Christmas Party … which led to sitting opposite each other … which led to the 10th of August 2021 – the day they became one.

Sarah and Tom shared the most beautiful day with their friends and family at De Vere Latimer Estate which is settled in 30 acres of Buckinghamshire countryside. Sarah and Tom who both grew up in the Chilterns Hills felt drawn to this venue as it’s stunning views and countryside scenery was their home. They couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate the rest of their lives together.

As Sarah and Tom awoke on her wedding day, they were blessed with the most gorgeous blue August skies. As West Sussex Wedding Videographers we met Tom at his and Sarah’s beautiful, refurbished home which he had kept in pristine condition as directed by Sarah, with the cat and rabbits fed and watered. He was suited and booted and had spent a chilled evening with his groomsmen. The chilled night did them good as they were already cracking out the jokes and putting Tom at ease.

Sarah in her grand, spacious bridal suite at Latimer was surrounded by her beautiful sisters and bridesmaids as bridal preparations were underway. As we, wedding videographers arrived Sarah greeted us with eye masks on her face and from that point on the laughter continued throughout the day. It is so important to us to know our couples and we love this part of the morning where we share stories and joke around. Sarah already knew so much about us from stalking our page and watching every wedding video in the bath every Friday night before her wedding, so we had some catching up to do.

Sarah looked effortlessly beautiful with her cascading curls, embellished with three stunning roses to match her bouquet. We know how much Sarah loved her hair because she cried when she saw it for the first time – you can see for yourself how beautiful it is in our wedding film above.

Sarah and Tom got married at a church that meant a lot to them and their family, they even recreated family photos from years before to mark the moment. The service was filled with singing, blessings and three beautiful readings by special loved ones. Sarah wowed the guests as she walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her dad with her stunning A line train rippling behind her. Sarah, after seeing every one of her wedding videos on those Friday nights spent in the bath, had seen that we capture the train of a dress walking down the aisle and had said how she desperately wanted that shot. As award wedding videographers we of course were able to capture this for her, being such a special and grand moment.

Back at Latimer the sun was still blazing, and everyone was enjoying themselves on the beautiful decking that overlooks those familiar countryside hills that Sarah and Tom call home. Sarah and Tom had a surprise for their guests at dinner and as everyone was stuffed after their food, singing waiters started singing and got everyone on their feet, starting the party early – you can feel this fun exuberant atmosphere in our (Ground Films) wedding film above. This perfectly led into the speeches which were expertly written and then performed by Tom’s brother, (being Best Man), Tom and Sarah’s father. They hit the perfect balance between heartfelt and humorous. We don’t want to spoil too much so you will just have to watch the film to hear them!

As Sussex wedding videographers we love to capture sunset shots with the couple if we are lucky, and boy we were lucky today! Ourselves, Tom and Sarah and the photographers (Matthew Lawerence and Charlie Bluck) walked to a field that Tom and Sarah actually had their engagement photos in to capture that beautiful sunset. Ground Films captured some incredible shots of the couple here, which you can see throughout Sarah and Toms wedding film above.

As we got back the party started, lifts were included as well as some energetic dancing from the groomsmen. The day ended perfectly with bacon rolls, lots of happy memories and endless laughter. Thank you for having us at your gorgeous wedding Sarah and Tom and we wish a lifetime of happiness on those Chiltern Hills.
