When a young army man and a beautiful make-up artist met on Facebook some years ago, it was inevitable this pair were destined to be together and would make a phenomenally gorgeous Bride & Groom.
We were so lucky to be asked to create their wedding video at Southend Barns, Chichester and had an unbelievable time at this inspiring venue and with this lovely couple, that we are delighted to share this Chichester wedding video with you.
The morning started in the rural village of Walberton, at a sleepy cottage nestled among a plethora of delightful blooms blossoming in the sunshine on this warm August day. As we arrived, Jay and his groomsmen were busy getting themselves ready for the biggest day of his life with a healthy mix of excitement and nerves. Ironing, drinking coffee and laughing with his mates, Jay was clearly grinning from ear to ear with the thought of seeing Rachel at the end of the aisle in just a few hours.
Back at the wedding venue Southend Barns Chichester, Rachel had arrived with her stunning bridesmaids in floor length dusty blue dresses. It has to be said this bride was like no other, she had done all her own hair and makeup and looked every inch the model bride with her bountiful up-do and flawless makeup, it was truly a breeze to film this incredible woman complete her look with a few brushes here and there and a lick of lip gloss. Talking to Rachel it was obvious how this was the day she had been dreaming of and how madly in love she was and how happy she was to become, marrying Jamie.

The moment Jay turned around to see his Bride walk down the aisle at the amazing Southend Barns wedding venue, was a moment no one could forget. His face completely lit up and I'm sure I saw a little tear lurking. The ceremony was filled with love and laughter and made us all feel warm inside, knowing these two were the definition of true love.
One of the great things about filming a Southend Barns wedding video is the modern & shabby chic gardens surrounding the two barns. After the ceremony the guests were treated to cocktails and canapés on the lawn with a steel drum musician making the already gorgeous day seem even more summery, whilst we took them off to the beautiful courtyard garden for photos of the newly weds.
..and then suddenly it was time for the speeches. The dining barn looked absolutely flawless dressed with candelabras adorned with cascading flowers and draping jewels and twinkly lights. It was the perfect setting to hear all about this wonderful couples lives together and hear everyones well wishes. But I have to say, by far the best speech has to go to Jamie's two nephews, standing on the chairs behind the head table, the boys were the epitome of confidence and reeled off a delightfully funny and intelligent speech delivered better than most politicians, the added sarcastic 'haha' from the youngest really made it one to remember.
The evening for us was topped off with the most romantic sunset over the fields of wild flowers, where Rachel & Jamie completely forget we were there and just gazed into each others eyes and realised what an amazing day it had been.
