Tell us about where and when you first both first met and What were your first impressions of each other when you first met? We both met while studying university in Newcastle in 2010.
Tell us about who proposed to who and where did it happen? Jack proposed to Lauren on christmas eve while walking our dog (Ted) in Devon.
Give us three words each to describe each other and what they mean to you? Bride: ambitious, loyal and beautiful Groom: Kind, loving and handsome How did you find and choose your wedding venue, Gaynes Park, Essex? Lauren always thought she would get married in a manor house or castle, however we visited Gaynes Park as a bit of a wild card. From the moment we drove up the drive we knew this was the place for us.
Tell us about your wedding dress featured in your Gaynes Park Wedding Video; the designer, how long it took you to find the one? Lauren took part in the show 'Say Yes To The Dress UK' and found her dress during this experience. Lauren had two wedding dresses; day dress from Justin Alexander and evening dress from a local shop in Exeter called Prudence Gowns.
Tell us about what the Groomsmen wore featured in your Gaynes Park Wedding Video? Jack and his groomsmen all wore suits from Moss Bros. Jack wore a 3 piece suit whereas the ushers, best man and father of the bride all wore matching 2 piece suits.
Was there any surprises in your Gaynes Park Wedding Video? Tell us more.. We had a cartoonist, magician and mini golf to entertain our wedding guests.
Did you have any readings and if so, why did you pick them? Yes - it was more about Lauren's sister and best friend having a part to play within the wedding ceremony that was important to us.
Tell us about the finishing touches featured in your Gaynes Park Wedding Video, like favours, sweet carts etc & name any suppliers & companies that helped make your perfect wedding day come true: We created a large seating plan using guests baby photos, had personalized thank you messages at table places, scratch cards as favours, had pizza as evening food and gin bar.
