Yasmin and Timothy got married at the South Lodge Hotel, in the beautiful West Sussex countryside on the 9th of October 2021.
In the words of Yasmin this couple have achieved “9 years together 👫🏻, 9 birthdays 🎂, 3 houses 🏡, 3 cars 🚗, 2 career changes 💼, 1 business start up ✈️, 5 epic adventures travelled ☀️🌴, 2 Disney parks 🏰, 1 furbaby 🐱, 1 pandemic 🦠, 1 postponed wedding 💒, too much laughter to count 🤣, some tears 😢 and now tomorrow we finally become husband and wife 👰🏻♀️🤵🏻♂️”
This gorgeous couple met at a house party at Timothy’s house. Tim declared that he didn’t usually attend these parties, but this time was different… it was truly fate that bought the couple together on this night. Since then, their shared love of Disney has grown as they have spent hours re-watching their favourite films and visited the Disney parks together. On one trip to Florida in 2018, Tim proposed to Yasmin in their shared favourite place – Disney World.
Ground Films, wedding videographers captured Yasmin getting ready in an insane suite in South lodge hotel with her big and loving family by her side. Having 2 sisters and 3 brothers, Yasmin’s family was always going to be a huge part of her wedding day. Her sisters even did Yasmin’s makeup creating such a personal and loving memory. Yasmin’s mum helped her get into her insane princess dress that paid homage to her Disney dreams as the ballgown skirt had the most subtle sparkly layer that softly glistened in the sunlight.
Tim got ready with his two brothers 4 floors below at the epic South Lodge. His brothers helped him to stay calm by cracking the jokes and helping him get into his blue suit with floral embellishments.
As Yasmin prepared to walk down the aisle and the couples wedding guests arrived, the heavy fog cleared, and the sun shone brightly. During the beautiful ceremony, Yasmin’s sister performed a reading so perfectly, the emotion she had for her sister getting married was truly magical so Ground Films couldn’t not include it in their wedding film above. Timothy’s reaction to seeing Yasmin walk down the aisle was priceless – the couple both shared a tear in this moment as they saw each other. Live piano accompaniment was enjoyed during their ceremony which continued throughout their reception.
Yasmin and Tim had an early ceremony meaning they could spend lots of time with their guests in the sun. As West Sussex wedding videographers we feel it is soo important to leave lots of time during the drinks reception so you that couples can get time with their guests as well as capturing all their group shots and couple photos. Yasmin and Tim had copious amounts of time enjoying the beautiful and unexpected October weather whilst enjoying some fizz.
Yasmin and Tim’s reception room was as you can imagine – a fairy-tale. It included Disney quizzes to keep the guests entertained during dinner as well as gorgeous little Disney edible favours. After some special speeches from Tim, Yasmin’s dad and Timothy’s eldest brother
everyone enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the beautiful grounds of South Lodge. In this time, West Sussex wedding videographers, Ground Films captured some stunning low light shots of the couple in the trees at the front of the hotel, they truly did look like a Disney couple.
Soon the dancing commenced and more of the couple’s family and friends joined as they celebrated Yasmin and Timothy’s wedding day and partied the night way.
