Leigh & Emilie's Wedding Film at Lainston House Hotel | Hampshire

“2 years and 8 months ago I was wishing there was someone like you out there, and in 2 minutes I’m going to be your wife”

Wedding Videographers Ground Films captured Emilie and Leigh tie the knot in their outside ceremony at the beautiful Lainston House in Winchester, Hampshire. The day was glorious and hot as the couple celebrated with their friends and family.

Leigh and Emilie had their first date in Richmond Park where they walked and talked for hours accompanied by Nico (Leighs beautiful blond lab). Leigh had picked up Emilie in his Porsche – which he had been persuaded to drive instead of his campervan by his brother and his girlfriend. From that date the pair continued to go on frequent country walks and sailing trips and before long they had moved in together in Winchester during the height of Covid – a no better time to get to know someone inside out. This pair found out that their paths have crossed so many times previously from being at the same university to Leigh speaking to Emilie’s dad in a bar in Portugal, eventually a dating app brought this pair together and the rest is history. From that moment of yes, to this of moment of yes, the pair have endlessly laughed with one another all of which you can hear about in their wedding film Produced and captured by Wedding Videographers Ground Films.

Emilie got ready with her friends and family who had travelled over from Sweden for the celebrations. She was calm and collected as her makeup was delicately put on, and her hair was crafted into a sophisticated yet soft up do – West Sussex wedding videographers captured it all. Emilie wore a stunning a line dress with a glamorous v shaped neckline. The whole ensemble was finished off with a stunning hair piece that sparkled in the blazing sun.

Meanwhile Wedding videographers Ground Films captured Leigh getting ready with the boy’s downstairs with his beloved Nico by his side. He wore a light grey three-piece suit which perfectly complimented the season and the stunning 17th century country house.

The ceremony was set outside, the day was beautifully hot and luckily Emilie and Leigh had the shade of the pergola as respite whilst they proclaimed their love to one another with their personal vows, which even included words of adoration for their pup Nico. Emilie walked down the very long aisle arm in arm with her father after her beautiful bridesmaids had reached Leigh, glancing to him with a reassuring look. Leighs father did a beautiful reading where he welcomed everyone to the wedding and Emilie’s niece recited a Winnie the Pooh reading with such confidence and charisma to the entirety of the wedding guests.

Wedding videographers, Ground Films captured everything at the stunning Winchester, Hampshire wedding, and as the couple enjoyed greeting their guests, we captured the stunning decorations that Emilie had meticulously planned in the reception barn, before capturing some epic shots of the pair in the ruins in the expansive grounds of Lainston House.

The speeches were full of stories about the pair as individuals and then how they met and al the adventures they have had as a pair. Everyone was in fits of laughter and the newlyweds smiled endlessly throughout – as West Sussex wedding videographers we adore capturing these authentic moments.

After and incredible dinner and beautiful and hilarious speeches the couple even got a stunning sunset creating the most perfect fairy-tale ending to their day, before dancing the night away under the canopy of lights in the barn reception.

We are so grateful to have been a part of Leigh and Emilie’s day and we cannot thank all the suppliers involved enough:
