Getting Ready: The Excitement at the Family Home
The day started with a flurry of excitement at the family home, just a short distance away from the church, where Emily prepared for her big day surrounded by her closest friends and family. The home, where Emily spent her formative years, buzzed with anticipation as Emily and her girls had a fantastic relaxed morning glaming up for the occasion and slipping into their elegant gowns. The morning was filled with laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt moments, all captured beautifully on camera.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds made a stylish departure in a classic Volkswagen wedding car. This charming vehicle added a touch of retro elegance to the day, perfectly complementing the timeless feel of their wedding. As they drove off to the reception at Farbridge, their guests followed in a beautifully restored vintage bus. The bus not only provided convenient transport but also added to the overall nostalgic atmosphere, allowing everyone to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride to the next part of the celebration at ther infamous Farbridge Wedding Venue, West Sussex.
Capturing the Moments: A West Sussex Videographer’s Perspective
From the intimate preparation moments at the family home to the joyous ceremony at Oving Church, and finally to the grand celebration at Farbridge, every detail of Emily and Marcus’ wedding day was a joy to capture. The love and happiness shared between them was palpable, and it was an honour to document such a beautiful and emotional day.
James' memorable part of the day, was hoovering the drone awaiting the Volkswagen carrying the new MR & MRS, to come down the drive to Farbridge and whooping with joy, when his Drone captured the moment perfectly and just in time before needing to change a battery too !
Ellie said she absoultley adored Emilys Dresses' they were so stylish, truly classic yet slightly vintage and glamourous and she just looked the image of perfection.
It was a particulary pleasurable day, spent with a long time friend and Photographer Matt, of Matthew Lawrence Photography. We first met Matt back in 2014 when we worked alongside each other in Cyprus capturing Wedding Videography. Days like today are always filled with so much fun, boucning ideas and creativity off of each other and creating a cohesive gallery of fun, romantic and cinematic Videography and photography for our couples, who feel like friends by the end of the day.
Final Thoughts - Nostalgia
The charm of the Farbridge venue, where we love being recommended West Sussex videographers, combined with the fun of the Volkswagen wedding car, the nostalgia of the vintage bus, and the heartfelt ceremony at the beautiful local Oving Church, all came together to create a day that Emily and Marcus will cherish forever. It was a wedding filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, making it a true pleasure to film.
